RULES AND CONDITIONS
FOR POLYMER WEEK AWARDS 2023
Rules and Conditions:
The contest is open to all polymer clay artists, regardless of their age, level of expertise, or professional background.
All entries must be original and solely created by the participant for this contest, and not have been entered into other contests.
Plagiarized or copied entries will be disqualified.
Each participant can submit only one entry for each category.
The artwork must be primarily made using polymer clay as the main medium. However, participants are allowed to incorporate other materials if desired.
Submission:
Entries must be submitted in digital format. Participants should provide high-quality photographs of their artwork on white background from different angles, clearly showcasing the details and craftsmanship.
Once you are ready with your project, send you submission to support@polymerweek.com and include:

photos in jpg format in high resolution

5-10 sentences-long description of the artwork, including the inspiration behind it and the techniques used

5-10 sentences about you as an author

the photo of you as an author in high-quality

your address and phone number in case the prize for you would be mailed
The submission period for the contest will begin on August 10 and end on October 10, 2023. Entries received after the deadline will not be considered.
Judging Panel:
The entries will be evaluated by a panel of teachers and organizers of the Polymer Week 2023 event in the field of polymer clay art. The judges' decisions will be final and binding.

Prizes:
The contest winner of each category will receive physical prizes that will be given away during the event announcement or shipped by mail. Additional recognition and exposure opportunities will also be provided to outstanding entries.
Winner Announcement:
The winner of the Polymer Week 2023 Online Contest will be announced during the event, on October 28 in Pilsen, Czech Republic. If the winner does not attend the event, the prize will be shipped by mail at our own expense.
Rights and Permissions:
By entering the contest, participants grant Polymer Week 2023 organizers the right to publish and display their artwork on the event website, social media platforms, and promotional materials.
Participants retain the full copyright of their submitted artwork.
Participants are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes respect, inclusivity, and positivity within the Polymer Week 2023 community. Any disrespectful or offensive behavior will result in immediate disqualification from the contest.
